The launch of the trilogy also means that existing versions of the three classic titles will be removed from digital retailers this week. Rockstar says the three games have been upgraded with graphical improvements and modern gameplay enhancements while still maintaining the classic look and feel of the originals. The games will also be available in iOS and Android in the first half of 2022. The announcement comes on the 20th anniversary of Grand Theft Auto III and the HD remasters will launch on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PCs. Rockstar Games announced that it has remastered Grand Theft Auto II, Vice City, and San Andreas and is launching all three through a special package dubbed Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition.
